In High Prairie, Alberta, the names Conan Ochran and CX Energy Services Ltd., stand for something.
We’re a business that won’t compromise. We hire the best employees and we create a safe environment where they can succeed and meet our clients’ needs. There’s no interest or value in cutting corners or taking shortcuts. We have an important job, one that needs to be done right, and we take that responsibility seriously while still offering competitive rates.
President and Owner, Conan Ochran, has always pursued excellence during his 30 years of experience in oilfield fluid transportation and he seeks to hire likeminded employees. CX Energy is the second business venture for Conan with the company going into operation in 2011 with five employees. CX Energy has now grown to nearly 60 full-time employees with a fleet of 42 tractor/trailer units and a crew of journeymen mechanics taking care of the equipment.
Our head office, located 8km southwest of High Prairie, has a 12,000 sq.ft maintenance shop & office, large washbay and we also have a satellite shop in Harmon Valley, Alberta. Our fluid hauling services include light/heavy crude oil, condensate, produced water, fresh water and drilling fluids. The majority of our drivers have 20 plus years of service, with some boasting over 40 years, and they’re not just exemplary drivers who’ve spent years with us, they also have many years of experience hauling crude oil.
Our management and dispatchers don’t spend all their time behind a desk, they’re out in the field all over north and central Alberta, working alongside operators and superintendents shouldering the weight of fluid management so our clients can focus on fluid production or whatever their own needs may be.
Safety is our first priority, always. We want to make sure our staff get to where they’re going
and home again safely.
We’re passionate about our communities, about supporting each other, our employees
and our clients. We want our areas to thrive and we want to expand with it,
to see our company's borders branch out in all directions.
